Looking back as we leave Tan Hill and the Pennine way and head south east towards Rogan's Seat
After a difficult crossing of the moorland and peat bogs we arrive at the trig point GR: NY928046 - a couple of kilometers north east of Rogan's Seat.
More bogs and moorland until we reach the track.

All in all a pleasant walk, the first half taking us north along the Pennine Way to Tan Hill, after which the going becomes tough across open moorland and peat bogs until we reach Rogan's Seat.

Look out for the dissused and seemingly bottomless mineshafts that plunge vertically down into the ground, we found two, its a good job they have safety cages fixed over them.
